Tehillim Day 30

1) A praise of David. I will exalt You, my God, the King, and I will bless Your name forever and ever.

א. תְּהִלָּה לְדָוִד אֲרוֹמִמְךָ אֱלוֹהַי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַאֲבָרֲכָה שִׁמְךָ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

2) Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.

ב. בְּכָל־יוֹם אֲבָרֲכֶךָּ וַאֲהַלְלָה שִׁמְךָ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

3) Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.

ג. גָּדוֹל יְיָ וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד וְלִגְדֻלָּתוֹ אֵין חֵקֶר

4) One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.

ד. דּוֹר לְדוֹר יְשַׁבַּח מַעֲשֶׂיךָ וּגְבוּרֹתֶיךָ יַגִּידוּ

5) I will speak of the glorious honor of Your majesty, and of Your wondrous works.

ה. הֲדַר כְּבוֹד הוֹדֶךָ וְדִבְרֵי נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ אָשִׂיחָה

6) Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.

ו. וֶעֱזוּז נוֹרְאוֹתֶיךָ יֹאמֵרוּ וּגְדֻלָּתְךָ אֲסַפְּרֶנָּה

7) They shall pour forth the fame of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness.

ז. זֵכֶר רַב־טוּבְךָ יַבִּיעוּ וְצִדְקָתְךָ יְרַנֵּנוּ

8) The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.

ח. חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם יְיָ אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וּגְדָל־חָסֶד

9) The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.

ט. טוֹב־יְיָ לַכֹּל וְרַחֲמָיו עַל־כָּל־מַעֲשָׂיו

10) All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your faithful ones shall bless You.

י. יוֹדוּךָ יְיָ כָּל־מַעֲשֶׂיךָ וַחֲסִידֶיךָ יְבָרְכוּכָה

11) They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power.

יא. כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתְךָ יֹאמֵרוּ וּגְבוּרָתְךָ יְדַבֵּרוּ

12) To make known to the children of man His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.

יב. לְהוֹדִיעַ לִבְנֵי הָאָדָם גְּבוּרֹתָיו וּכְבוֹד הֲדַר מַלְכוּתוֹ

13) Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

יג. מַלְכוּתְךָ מַלְכוּת כָּל־עֹלָמִים וּמֶמְשַׁלְתְּךָ בְּכָל־דּוֹר וָדֹר

14) The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.

יד. סוֹמֵךְ יְיָ לְכָל־הַנֹּפְלִים וְזוֹקֵף לְכָל־הַכְּפוּפִים

15) The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due season.

טו. עֵינֵי־כֹל אֵלֶיךָ יְשַׂבֵּרוּ וְאַתָּה נוֹתֵן לָהֶם אֶת־אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ

16) You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

טז. פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת־יָדֶךָ וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל־חַי רָצוֹן

17) The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and kind in all His works.

יז. צַדִּיק יְיָ בְּכָל־דְּרָכָיו וְחָסִיד בְּכָל־מַעֲשָׂיו

18) The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.

יח. קָרוֹב יְיָ לְכָל־קֹרְאָיו לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאֻהוּ בֶאֱמֶת

19) He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will hear their cry and save them.

יט. רְצוֹן יְרֵאָיו יַעֲשֶׂה וְאֶת־שַׁוְעָתָם יִשְׁמַע וְיוֹשִׁיעֵם

20) The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

כ. שׁוֹמֵר יְיָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹהֲבָיו וְאֵת כָּל־הָרְשָׁעִים יַשְׁמִיד

21) My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless His holy name forever and ever.

כא. תְּהִלַּת יְיָ יְדַבֶּר־פִי וִיבָרֵךְ כָּל־בָּשָׂר שֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

1) Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul.

א. הַלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת־יְיָ

2) I will praise the Lord while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

ב. אֲהַלְלָה יְיָ בְּחַיָּי אֲזַמְּרָה לֵאלֹהַי בְּעוֹדִי

3) Do not put your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

ג. אַל־תִּבְטְחוּ בִנְדִיבִים בְּבֶן אָדָם שֶׁאֵין לוֹ תְשׁוּעָה

4) His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish.

ד. תֵּצֵא רוּחוֹ יָשֻׁב לְאַדְמָתוֹ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָבְדוּ עֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָיו

5) Happy is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

ה. אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁאֵל יַעֲקֹב בְּעֶזְרוֹ שִׂבְרוֹ עַל־יְיָ אֱלֹהָיו

6) Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever,

ו. עֹשֶׂה שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ אֶת־הַיָּם וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּם הַשֹּׁמֵר אֱמֶת לְעוֹלָם

7) Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners.

ז. עֹשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט לַעֲשׁוּקִים נֹתֵן לֶחֶם לָרְעֵבִים יְיָ מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים

8) The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.

ח. יְיָ פֹּקֵחַ עִוְרִים יְיָ זֹקֵף כְּפוּפִים יְיָ אֹהֵב צַדִּיקִים

9) The Lord watches over the strangers; He upholds the orphan and the widow; but the way of the wicked He thwarts.

ט. יְיָ שֹׁמֵר אֶת־גֵּרִים יָתוֹם וְאַלְמָנָה יְעוֹדֵד וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים יְעַוֵּת

10) The Lord shall reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!

י. יִמְלֹךְ יְיָ לְעוֹלָם אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן לְדֹר וָדֹר הַלְלוּ־יָהּ

1) Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is fitting.

א. הַלְלוּ־יָהּ כִּי־טוֹב זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כִּי־נָעִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּה

2) The Lord builds Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

ב. בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְיָ נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס

3) He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

ג. הָרוֹפֵא לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב וּמְחַבֵּשׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָם

4) He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by names.

ד. מוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִים לְכוּלָּם שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָא

5) Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

ה. גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב־כֹּחַ לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּר

6) The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.

ו. מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְיָ מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי־אָרֶץ

7) Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises upon the harp to our God,

ז. עֱנוּ לַי־י בְּתוֹדָה זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְּכִנּוֹר

8) Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass grow upon the mountains.

ח. הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר

9) He gives to the beast its food, and to the young ravens which cry.

ט. נֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ

10) He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

י. לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ לֹא בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה

11) The Lord delights in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.

יא. רוֹצֶה יְיָ אֶת־יְרֵאָיו אֶת־הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ

12) Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.

יב. שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אֶת־יְיָ הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן

13) For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you.

יג. כִּי חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ בֵּרֵךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ

14) He makes peace in your borders; He fills you with the finest of the wheat.

יד. הַשָּׂם גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם חֵלֶב חִטִּים יַשְׂבִּיעֵךְ

15) He sends forth His commandment to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.

טו. הַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ עַד־מְהֵרָה יָרוּץ דְּבָרוֹ

16) He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.

טז. הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר

17) He casts forth His ice like morsels; who can stand before His cold?

יז. מַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמוֹד

18) He sends out His word, and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.

יח. יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָיִם

19) He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.

יט. מַגִּיד דְּבָרוֹ לְיַעֲקֹב חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵל

20) He has not done so with any other nation; and as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!

כ. לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל־גּוֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל־יְדָעוּם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ

1) Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights.

א. הַלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְיָ מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם הַלְלוּהוּ בַּמְּרוֹמִים

2) Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.

ב. הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל־מַלְאָכָיו הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל־צְבָאָיו

3) Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.

ג. הַלְלוּהוּ שֶׁמֶשׁ וְיָרֵחַ הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל־כּוֹכְבֵי־אוֹר

4) Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters that are above the heavens.

ד. הַלְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם וְהַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מֵעַל הַשָּׁמָיִם

5) Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created.

ה. יְהַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְיָ כִּי הוּא צִוָּה וְנִבְרָאוּ

6) He has also established them forever and ever; He gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.

ו. וַיַּעֲמִידֵם לָעַד לְעוֹלָם חָק־נָתַן וְלֹא יַעֲבוֹר

7) Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea creatures and all deeps,

ז. הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְיָ מִן־הָאָרֶץ תַּנִּינִים וְכָל־תְּהֹמוֹת

8) Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind fulfilling His word,

ח. אֵשׁ וּבָרָד שֶׁלֶג וְקִיטוֹר רוּחַ סְעָרָה עֹשָׂה דְבָרוֹ

9) Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,

ט. הֶהָרִים וְכָל־גְּבָעוֹת עֵץ פְּרִי וְכָל־אֲרָזִים

10) Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged birds,

י. הַחַיָּה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָה רֶמֶשׂ וְצִפּוֹר כָּנָף

11) Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth,

יא. מַלְכֵי־אֶרֶץ וְכָל־לְאֻמִּים שָׂרִים וְכָל־שֹׁפְטֵי אָרֶץ

12) Both young men and maidens, old men and children:

יב. בַּחוּרִים וְגַם־בְּתוּלוֹת זְקֵנִים עִם־נְעָרִים

13) Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

יג. יְהַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְיָ כִּי־נִשְׂגָּב שְׁמוֹ לְבַדּוֹ הוֹדוֹ עַל־אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָיִם

14) And He has raised up a horn for His people, praise for all His faithful ones, for the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

יד. וַיָּרֶם קֶרֶן לְעַמּוֹ תְּהִלָּה לְכָל־חֲסִידָיו לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַם קְרֹבוֹ הַלְלוּ־יָהּ

1) Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the faithful.

א. הַלְלוּ־יָהּ שִׁירוּ לַי־י שִׁיר חָדָשׁ תְּהִלָּתוֹ בִּקְהַל חֲסִידִים

2) Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

ב. יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֹשָׂיו בְּנֵי־צִיּוֹן יָגִילוּ בְמַלְכָּם

3) Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

ג. יְהַלְלוּ שְׁמוֹ בְמָחוֹל בְּתֹף וְכִנּוֹר יְזַמְּרוּ־לוֹ

4) For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the humble with salvation.

ד. כִּי־רוֹצֶה יְיָ בְּעַמּוֹ יְפָאֵר עֲנָוִים בִּישׁוּעָה

5) Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.

ה. יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד יְרַנְּנוּ עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם

6) Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand,

ו. רוֹמְמוֹת אֵל בִּגְרוֹנָם וְחֶרֶב פִּיפִיּוֹת בְּיָדָם

7) To execute vengeance upon the nations, and punishments upon the peoples,

ז. לַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה בַגּוֹיִם תּוֹכֵחוֹת בַּלְאֻמִּים

8) To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron,

ח. לֶאְסֹר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶל

9) To execute upon them the written judgment. This honor is for all His faithful ones. Praise the Lord!

ט. לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב הָדָר הוּא לְכָל־חֲסִידָיו הַלְלוּ־יָהּ

1) Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power.

א. הַלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלוּ־אֵל בְּקָדְשׁוֹ הַלְלוּהוּ בִּרְקִיעַ עֻזּוֹ

2) Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His abundant greatness.

ב. הַלְלוּהוּ בִגְבוּרֹתָיו הַלְלוּהוּ כְּרֹב גֻּדְלוֹ

3) Praise Him with the blast of the shofar; praise Him with the harp and lyre.

ג. הַלְלוּהוּ בְּתֵקַע שׁוֹפָר הַלְלוּהוּ בְּנֵבֶל וְכִנּוֹר

4) Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.

ד. הַלְלוּהוּ בְתֹף וּמָחוֹל הַלְלוּהוּ בְּמִנִּים וְעוּגָב

5) Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with resounding cymbals.

ה. הַלְלוּהוּ בְצִלְצְלֵי־שָׁמַע הַלְלוּהוּ בְּצִלְצְלֵי תְרוּעָה

6) Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

ו. כֹּל הַנְּשָׁמָה תְּהַלֵּל יָהּ הַלְלוּ־יָהּ
